Day.16. Hahndorf

An early morning cycle trip up the Torrens river & back & then a day out in Hahndorf.

The summit of Mt Lofty in the Adelaide hills. Finally it was pleasantly cool up here.

A monument that makes the mountain summit a little higher. I really can't see any other reason for it.

Adelaide city from Mt Lofty.

The same picture as above but zoomed on the city centre.

Driving through the Adelaide hills.

Good roads.

Hahndorf, I won't make any smart assed comments.

A lot like Montville, only larger.

The Queen on her throne outside the old Hahndorf pub.

Had a traditional German lunch in this old building But I took this after we ate as I was too weak from hunger beforehand. Greg was unable to eat the last couple of kranskys & took them home for the dog, or the cat or himself..
We then ate an ice cream that could choke a horse, it was great.

The outside of the lunch venue, kind of old, probably needs flattening & something modern built.

An old compressor tank turned into a combi & stove.

Yvonne on the way back from the dunny.

Another ice creamery.

Another old dump needing work.
