Jo & Kev went out for a day trip to sights around Melbourne, whilst the rest of us cycled the local area. We followed the rail trail to Queenscliff Then on to Point Lonsdale & home again to the lovely heated indoor pool & afternoon nap.We finished the day with the 6 of us having drinks at Jo & kevs van.
The Sorrento Queenscliff ferry, discharging its passengers. We will be putting the cars & vans on board for the trip to Sorrento on Friday, when we will be moving on to Wilsons Promontory.
The old Quenscliff light house, with channel lead lights on either side, guiding shipping into Port Phillip Bay. There was another light house only about 500 metres away, I didn't bother taking a pictograph of that because they all look the same.
Onward along the beachfront bikeway to Point Lonsdale. We cycled 34k today, which seems to be about the average that we do. Tomorrow we are headed for Geelong on the bikes.
The jetty at Point Lonsdale, & yep there is yet another lighthouse, the damn things are everywhere & need to be thinned out. We are looking forward to our desert trip in July, mainly so we don't have to look at any more lighthouses.

The outskirts of Queenscliff.
The historical Queenscliff station, which is a tourist track with steam engines & diesel engines which run to Drysdale.
One of the many old buildings in Queenscliff.
