Long ride today to Eastern Beach at Geelong 61.7k return. Battled into a roaring headwind for 30k & were looking forward to the tailwind coming home only to find the the wind had shifted 180* into a ranging headwind on the way home also.Had an afternoon swim, a bounce on the bouncing pillow and a nap before all 6 of us going to dinner.
Heading out along the rail trail again today but in the opposite direction, this time toward Geelong.
Our final dinner together, tomorrow we leave Jo & Kev & head for Wilsons Promontory.
A beach scene from the location of the previous picture. If you look closely the little white dot in the centre of the picture is yet another lighthouse. They seem to contaminate most of our coastal pictures.

A longer ride through quite a bit of farmland.
A few of the previous cyclists killed by the headwind, stuffed & mounted on the fence.
Drysdale station, the terminus for the steam train ride.
Further along we had another 10k of hot mix bitumen.
The pier at Eastern Beach.
I liked this boat.
Lunch break on the Eastern beach foreshore.
A group of very large toy soldiers
A floating fish & chip restaurant, settles down on a metal frame at low tide & floats up on the high tide.
The foreshore of Eastern Beach.
The enclosure & salt water baths.
