Day.39. & 40 Jindabyne to Dalmeny to Batemans Bay

A couple of days spent getting from Jindabyne to Wendys' parents place at Batemans Bay, with an intervening night spent at Dalmeny. There are so many beautiful places we have found on this trip that we have never heard off. We arrived at Batemans Bay this afternoon & set up at Tinky & Robs' house.

On leaving Jindabyne we dropped to the Gaden trout & salmon hatchery. This is a picture of the fish going into a frenzy at feeding.

Another of the many ponds at the hatchery with the very large stock fish feeding. I think the ducks are swimming for their lives. These fish are up to a metre long.

This is a bunch of trout fingerlings.

Gaden fish hatchery.

The snowy mountains hydro centre at Cooma. It was pretty interesting.

Screens showing real time status of all turbines & minute to minute costs of bulk wholesale power.

Descending the Great Dividing Range toward the NSW coast.

It was a long & steep descent.

A lift up bridge near Moruya.

Camp Dalmeny across the road from the fish & chip shop, which we may have frequented.

Pano of the sea mist rolling in from the Pacific in front of the caravan park at Dalmeny.

Pulled up for a swim just as we left the caravan park. The sea mist is still rolling in. With the mist the coast looked exactly like the Californian coast.

Morning tea at Tuross Head another fantastic unheard of place.

Pano.... Tuross Heads.

More views of Tuross Heads.

Heading back to the rockets from the lookout.

Approaching Batemans Bay along a very scenic drive.
